Drooping eyelid
The eyelid's main function is to protect the eye from external aggressions, but over time it can be affected by ptosis, also known as a drooping eyelid. This condition, which can occur in a large part of the population, is usually linked to the natural aging of tissues. As we age, the levator palpebrae superioris muscle loses firmness, resulting in a progressive drooping of the upper eyelid. Although there are various factors that contribute to this problem, natural wear and tear is one of the most common causes.
