At Press & Clear, we recognize that blemish-prone skin is sensitive skin. Overloading the skin, especially sensitive and blemish-prone skin, with high-intensity blemish treatments can lead to a breakdown of the skin barrier. The skin becomes susceptible to damage, inflammation, and new breakouts. At Medik8, we've formulated Press & Clear to deliver amazing results with daily use, while strengthening the skin barrier to maintain a healthy complexion.

1. Maximum strength (2%) salicylic acid BHA is oil-soluble and able to penetrate deep into pores to break down blockages that can cause blemishes and congestion. Our blemish-fighting hero promotes a visibly clearer and decongested complexion. Salicylic acid is optimally delivered with our gentle-release crystal encapsulation system. This system slowly releases the salicylic acid to avoid any discomfort on sensitive and vulnerable skin, while maintaining its potency.

2. Press & Clear has a skin-friendly pH of approximately 5.5. While other exfoliating acids, such as AHAs, require a low pH to work on the skin, salicylic acid is unique in that it is an effective exfoliant at both low and neutral pH levels. Our balanced pH ensures that Press & Clear is gentle and non-stinging.

3. Tranexamic acid, a brightening active ingredient, works to visibly even out skin tone, minimizing the appearance of persistent marks and imperfections.

4. Sake extract and aloe vera soothe and hydrate the skin, counteracting any dryness that may have occurred during and after breakouts. The skin barrier is nourished and supported, making it more resistant to future breakouts.

Unlock by turning the top half of the pump counterclockwise until it clicks to activate.

1. After cleansing in the morning and/or evening, hold a facial pad (preferably reusable) firmly over Press & Clear and press 3-4 times. Wipe the pad over your face, avoiding the delicate eye area.

2. Turn the pump clockwise until it clicks into place. Store out of direct sunlight.

3. We advise new users to apply it once a day and observe the skin's response, then use it up to twice a day.
