From Istanbul to Madrid
Biography
I studied business administration in Boston, moved to Istanbul for love, and now I've settled in Madrid, the headquarters of Gabfoods and also my home. My grandmother taught me everything about food, products, and cooking. In particular, she taught me patience, love, and care in cooking. She was my teacher and my muse. I realized she was right, that my obsession with food should be my passion, my profession. I designed, cooked, and delivered weekly menus to my clients, consisting of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack. It was the first organic, gluten-free, and paleo diet company in Turkey; that's how Gabfoods was born.

“Never give up, work hard. Everything can be achieved with a lot of effort.”
What is beauty to you and what connection does it have with your creative side in the kitchen?
Beauty is essential in my life. Everything we create at Gabfoods is based on the principles of beauty. This can mean taking good care of ourselves and nourishing our bodies. Beauty in gastronomy can be a dish that instantly fills you with joy simply by looking at it, thanks to its intrinsic beauty.
- What inspires you to create your recipes? And tell us, is there one that has been especially meaningful to you?
When I started, my travels inspired my recipes. Having never studied gastronomy, I learned to cook by traveling and trying everything I could. The world, each country, has its own culinary heritage. I like to blend it all, always keeping in mind healthy and sustainable practices.

“I’ve learned not to obsess over anything. To achieve balance in all aspects of life.”
– How do you take care of your beauty from the inside out?
I've learned not to obsess over anything—not work, not my health, not my appearance. I believe that inner beauty lies in achieving balance in all aspects of life so you can be content with yourself.
– A pending issue (as far as beauty is concerned)
I would like a spiritual retreat as soon as possible, perhaps after the Christmas season.
– Who are your beauty icons?
The truth is, I don't have one. I like simple, natural women, and above all, women who are self-confident. That's the best quality my beauty icon should have.
– A foolproof trick or product
To relax, while I apply the Biologique Rhythm 02 mask, I wait for the different mineral salts to mix with the hot water and then the bath begins. It's that simple. A great recipe for your body!
– What is your morning routine?
I have a complete and well-developed routine thanks to the Beldon consultants. I wash my face with Biologique's cleansing milk and then apply the p50. As a serum, I use Extraits Tissulaires, and finally, the Biologique cream. At night, I apply a few drops of retinol.
